The DesiLu Experience

After we have received your inquiry and confirmed we are available for your wedding day, we will set up a consult to meet with you face to face ( or by Zoom). We want to find out more about your wedding plans and what is important to you. We will talk a little bit more about our process, your timeline and what collection might suit you best.

To secure your date on our calendar, we need a signed proposal and retainer. Afterwards, we will send over some planning information and questionaires to get to know you a little better!

Let the fun begin! We love Engagement Sessions. We discover things about you- you discover things about us and we are that much more prepared for your wedding day! Plus... this is a time we will teach a little about posing and how we work so you both will be comfortable in front of the camera.

Time to get organized. A few months before your wedding, we will send over some questionnaires to help us to learn more about your timelines, wedding day details, family shot list, vendors and more. A few weeks before the wedding we will plan to meet either at our studio, via zoom or at your wedding venue to finalize all the details of your perfect day.

The day has FINALLY arrived and it so going to be the best day ever. We can not wait to spend it with you. Leading up to this day we will have met multiple times, exchanged so many emails and have all your details figured out so your day can run as smoothly as possible!! It is time to relax, live in the moment, enjoy it , try to forget we are there (because at heart- we are photojournalists) and to let us capture your story.

We know you just can not wait to see your photos and we will send you a mini sneak peek within 72 hours of your wedding day! Tell everyone about your best day ever with professional photos!

The wait is over and it is time to relive your wedding day. Within 6 weeks we will deliver the rest of your gallery through your online gallery that you can share with all of your family and friends. You will also receive you keepsake USB. We will then talk you through picking your favorite images for you albums and wall art.

Your wedding day story is not meant to live on your phone... so adorn your walls with wall art of your perfect day. We will work with you to create beautiful wall art for your walls and heirloom albums to treasure this perfect day for a lifetime.
