At DesiLu Portrait Design, we believe that this is such a precious time in your families story we want to capture your whole family- not just the newest addition.  Family and Sibling (including the furry ones)  poses are included in all of our sessions. 

We offer studio, in home and on location newborn sessions.

Our studio is located just outside of Lewisville, NC.

NEWBORN STUDIO SESSIONS

Studio Sessions use props, scenes and outfits to capture your newborn in the first few weeks of their life.  Beforehand we will discuss your preference and customize the perfect session for you.  It's important to book in advance as your baby grows and chances so quickly during it's first few weeks.  We recommend scheduling the session inside the first two weeks of your babies life, when they will be the most sleepy.  
 
Studio sessions take place at our studio location which is set up to be comfortable for both you and the baby. Sessions typically last between 1-2 hours, depending on how many outfits and scenes you have selected and how well you baby sleeps.  Weather permitting, we can go outside on our acre of land and include outdoor set ups as well.  Family and Sibling poses are always included and usually take place at the beginning of the session. 
 
If you want perfectly lit photos and more traditional newborn poses, then the studio session is a great fit for you.
 
Studio Newborn build your own collections start at $450 and Signature Collections at $695.

IN HOME LIFESTYLE SESSIONS

Lifestyle sessions take the focus of the set and poses and instead focus on capturing you family and it's newest little member in a candid and real life kind of way.  One of the best parts about these sessions is that they take place in your own home, which makes the process much easier and less stressful.

When we first arrive we will simply hang out for a few minutes and spend some time with any older children so that everyone is feeling comfortable by the time we start. We will look around you home for the best lighting and locations for the session. 

The focus of your session will be on incorporating real life activities to help tell the story of this unique moment in your journey as a family.  If authentic, true to life photos is what you are after, then the in home lifestyle session is probably for you.

Love the idea of a lifestyle session but want the studio look to? We have a small portable studio set up that we can bring upon request.

In home newborn sessions start at $500 for build your own collections and Signature Collections at $750.
